Statement

Sally Loughridge is a UK based British artist, whose background as a costume designer for television, film and theatre has strongly influenced her figurative portrayals. The artist establishes a narrative between subject and setting most dynamically through the drypoint medium, whose rich, velvety monochromatic lines and textures enable her to represent more dramatically the light and shadows of the natural landscape.
