I'm obsessed with trees, I spent a lot of my childhood climbing them, making dens in them, reading fairy stories and folk tales about them and imagining my own adventures when playing amongst them. Now I love trees for their beauty, majesty and restorative powers; the shelter of the forest can sometimes provide a sense of complete isolation, sometimes, a sense of connectedness to something so much larger than ourselves. And of course the environmental and ecological importance of trees is invaluable - I will forever marvel and be inspired by trees and the beauty and sanctuary they provide us.
