My drawing of the dining room at Godolphin NT Cornwall was done in situ. I became fascinated by the linen fold panelling which intrigued me as it didn’t quite fit the space, had it once belonged to the King of Portugal’s ship wrecked off Loe Bar? I love the stories historic, old houses have to tell.
